Together, we can stop child defendants being executed in Saudi Arabia.
Abdullah al-Derazi. Youssef al-Manasif. Abdullah al-Howaiti. They’re child defendants. They’re on death row in Saudi Arabia. And they’re our clients.
We’re sounding the alarm on behalf of Youssef al-Manasif and Abdullah al-Derazi, two child defendants on death row for non-lethal “crimes” which relate to protesting when they were just children. Like our client Abdullah al-Howaiti, both Youssef al-Manasif and Abdullah al-Derazi were tortured into “confessing.”
At least 15 child defendants have been executed for childhood “crimes” since 2010, including child defendant Mustafa al-Darwish who was executed in 2021.
Together, we can and will expose Mohammed bin Salman’s bloodthirsty regime and stop the execution of child defendants. The Reprieve community has done it before. We helped prevent the executions of Ali al-Nimr, Abdullah al-Zaher and Dawoud al-Marhoun – who are now free. We can and will do it again.
