Oppose Saudi Arabia’s bid to join the UN Human Rights Council

Saudi Arabia have executed at least 169 people this year and counting.

Saudi Arabia is in the midst of an execution crisis, yet the Kingdom is bidding for a seat on the UN Human Rights Council in October.

The Council is an intergovernmental body responsible for the “promotion and protection of all human rights around the globe”. [1]

A State that hands out death sentences to child defendants and protestors, while lying to the international community about its actions, has no place being elected to such a position.

Add your name to show that you oppose Saudi Arabia’s bid, and the flagrant undermining of the international human rights institutions that it represents.
