There are currently a small handful of British families illegally detained in detention facilities in North East Syria. Some of them have been detained for over five years.

Countries like the France, Germany, Finland and Canada have been bringing their nationals home, while the UK government has abandoned its nationals, including children. Despite allies like the US pushing the UK to take responsibility, they still haven’t changed their stance.
