Saudi Arabia: Save Mohammed Essam al-Faraj

Mohammed al-Faraj was 15 years old – just a child – when he was arrested and tortured into signing a “confession.”

For five years, Mohammed has been imprisoned and at risk of the death penalty in Saudi Arabia based on that “confession”. His court hearing has been postponed seven times.

Saudi Arabia supposedly abolished the death penalty for child defendants. They announced this two years ago – in April 2020 – and they’ve repeated this claim many times since. So, why is Mohammed in a prison cell still at risk of the death penalty?

Together, we’re shining an international spotlight on Saudi Arabia. Add your name to make sure Mohammed doesn't face a death sentence - and is finally freed.
